I think the Oba Femi open challenge is awesome. While watching Oba come to the ring, it dawned on me that it was unequivocally an audible that Brock Lesnar pulled at Mania to immortalize Oba. Through all of Brock’s faults, he is most definitely a locker room leader, and put in the biggest vote of confidence for Oba on the fly. Also, just note that behind the curtain, there have probably been dozens of meetings on how WWE is struggling to make new stars. Brock probably echos that sentiment and decided to step up and make a new star in Oba Femi.
