I’m a former listener of the Lany Band, but I stopped. I judge people who still support LANY and listen to their music. Why? ‘cause Paul Klein has been accused of being a sex abuser, manipulator, and groomer, and totally aware lahat ng, members nya, making them enablers. So if you’re still supporting them after knowing these allegations, you’re an enabler too. Basta mga pinoy talaga mga enablers ng oppressors, basta groomers safe talaga sa pinas, lol (tagging Benedict Mary Ambos). Just look how they’re celebrating LANY’s four-day concert now that’s going to happen in Bulacan and Cebu.   And ito yung balita ngayon na si Paul Klein ay nasa Jollibee BGC kanina until now engaging with fans, and while his reason for being there isn’t clear, it feels odd. Maybe some people think he’s just being humble, but it seems like a pattern of weird behavior to me.   I haven’t personally spoken to the victims, nor do I know the full details, but it’s so important na magkaroon ng enpathy sa mga na biktima. Just think, despite these accusations, Klein hasn’t given a clear public statement addressing the grooming and abuse allegations. He’s denied them as “false and defamatory,” pero yung kakulangan niya ng transparency ay nagbibigay sa’kin at sa iba niyang fans para hindi na siya supportahan.   It’s important to note guys that these allegations did lead to some consequences for Klein, like canceled tour dates to some countries, kung saan siya may kaso. I’m posting this because it’s World Mental Health Month, and it’s so important to be empathetic to victims. And I know if fck up ang justice system dito sa pilipinas patungkol sa ganitong problema, ganun din sa ibang bansa. Just look at Justin Bieber, Diddy, and Hollywood issues. Imagine how rich people who have power can make you silent over the years after being oppressed. Just imagine how it feels. Bye.
