@GolfweekRingler This is a perfect example of why P-4’s that are traditionally at-large teams are going to play in 1-2 lower tiered events. It all but assures them a bunch of wins and if you blow away the field it doesn’t hurt your ranking. Appreciate you Lance!

So, South Carolina women are ranked No. 23, but is ineligible for an at-large bid into NCAA postseason play due to the pesky .500 Rule. The guideline that says you have to have a winning head-to-head won-loss record to be considered for an at-large bid. But, here is the WILD part... it appears South Carolina will send FOUR players as individuals to NCAA Regional play! Now the question: Is the .500 Rule needed? Or is this simply a scheduling problem?
