@DONTETHELEGEND @e83talus I only speak for myself, I try to only say “I think” or “I want” because it’s just my opinion. I’m invested in the show, whether I agree with the character development or not. But I just want to voice an opinion when the writing makes me roll my eyes like Eva 😂

@jdcalgary @e83talus That’s the issue some fans have, we like what they do with the characters. Some fans think they speak for all fans. I like enjoying the ride the writers want to take us on. If I don’t enjoy the writing I turn off the show not try and dictate what I want. That’s just me.

So Eva insists they leave and eat, Leslie does not so she sits there so people from last year can see them there. This is why I do not trust Eva. She talks but does nothing and supports Leslie’s bad behavior! #BeyondTheGates

@e83talus @DONTETHELEGEND That’s a great point about Deanna. Her words and actions match whether it be in public or private. If they wrote Eva like this I would have less issues with the character. Right now, I just don’t care about anything Eva says because she will flip flop in a minute

@DONTETHELEGEND @jdcalgary Deanna is an example on screen of what not supporting a parents toxic behavior looks like. She has told Vanessa how she feels, has confronted the culprit of the issue and has distanced herself from her mom. Not easy but it can be done over time. Its hard but doable.

@jdcalgary @e83talus Leslie is not your mother, she’s a fictional character. It doesn’t matter what you would like to see, it’s up to the writers to tell the story they want to tell. If Eva wants to stand by her mom it doesn’t affect your life. Just enjoy the show. Eva can do as she pleases.

@DONTETHELEGEND @e83talus Eva says she doesn’t support what her mother did but still stands by her. I’d like to see her follow up her words by actually standing up to her mother when it counts. Doesn’t matter if Leslie listens, this is about what Eva needs to do in my opinion 🤷🏽‍♀️
