Something that bothers me is when people call Adley, "Matt Wieters 2.0" as if that's some kind of insult. Wieters had a really solid career. Unless Wieters hit 600 HRs, won 4 WS titles and 8 gold gloves, he'd never live up to those expectations he had - but that isnt his fault

Thoughts on Adley leading off this year ? 204 career PA leading off .356 OBP .263 AVG .755 OPS my idea was to let him relax , and not feel the pressure to drive in runs and hits HRs . Let him get back to taking pitches and using the whole field to get on base

@PigTownSports They should get a decent comp draft pick when Ward hits free agency so it’s kind of like Ward and a pick for Rodriguez.

Not pending Physical means 1 of 2 things...trade was agreed upon a while ago and physicals are done or this is a buy as is trade for the Angels To not get any prospects back for 4 years of control is odd .. very odd Had to think they took calls and thats the best offer (i hope)

I’ve been saying all season and before that Shohei Ohtani was in the conversation for top 10 of all time. I have now revised that statement to be top 5. He’s so good at baseball. I’m not saying best of all time (yet) so don’t @ me. I’m saying he’s in the conversation. He’s unreal.

@PigTownSports I don’t like the Dodgers but I really hope they win in 4 and do it again next year too. Shut down the 2027 season and come back with a hard cap in 2028.

@OriolesMagic23 Pitchers with 30ish starts and an ERA in the 4’s are very valuable and I’m sure a lot of playoff teams would love to have him. Problem is those guys slot in the back of the rotation to eat innings.

Dean Kremer should not be on the team in 2026 if you are serious about winning, If so he should be at a very minimal role! #Birdland

This 2025 Orioles team does nothing right: - Terrible manager to start the year followed with a terrible interm manager. - Terrible hitting coaches, pitching coaches & strength and conditioning coaches. - Terrible hitting with RISP, Terrible small ball. - Terrible bullpen

@jddunn08 @kylegoon This is silly. Avoid drafting a guy who signed with an agent 3 years after he was drafted lol. Also, our team would suck if we avoided Boras guys. It’s unfortunate Boras never has his guys sign early long term extensions, but it is what it is

Tough one, it’s hard to trade your catcher in season if your a contender. Although his numbers are down he’s still very good compared to other catchers and a massive upgrade for a lot of teams. If you wait until after next season, the price also drops as he’s essentially a rental. Not to mention potential work stoppage. I’m still in the, I would like to extend him camp. I think he will be just fine but if you can’t extend him, move on.

Not sure I’m believing that right now His value isn’t what it could be , so to trade this off season would be kinda dumb

With a win tonight the Os would cap off a 6-2 record Vs the Mariners , Astros and Redsox With 8 games at home vs Astros and Redsox if they managed another 6-2 14-4 and you’re telling me you wouldn’t start thinking playoffs again ?
