🌽Husker Talk🌽 I watched all 3 practice videos and here’s my biased, wannabe journalist thoughts: WRs: Gilmer and Hunter really pop. Almost identical in body type and physique. Best WR room I’ve seen since probably ‘17. The freshman Nalik Scott looks like a Senior OL: 4 coaches there. Geepers coaches with Aaron Coeling (good to see him back), while Teasley has a GA. Really like the coaching being done. Pritchett looks 🔥. Tree has an interesting lower half

Why do media companies post knowingly-false, hyperbolic, and extreme opinions? B/c it generates impressions. Here's a look at a certain radio station's yesterday on a few tweets that were up for a 20-24hr period. People don't want to be told the truth or facts. They want to be told: a) an opinion that matches what they already think so they can reinforce their priors b) something that pisses them off so much that they can argue with you It's all about driving engagement. You see the same thing from burners who spiral into more derogatory/inflammatory behavior (only after they gave the account to their friend though) & dudes podcasting from their parent's basements. Once you start to notice the pattern it becomes easier to try and ignore + quit amplifying it. We're all guilty - I engaged this morning when it would be best to just ignore and move on. But here's the why behind it 👇

@mikeharvat Nope. City Hall actually lol. And in Jefferson was at the community center. I don’t remember what the venue in Wichita was, just remember it was pretty small. Also saw Bradley Hathaway a few times for super small shows. Like 20-30 people.

@jdfisch6 Orange City. Must have been a show at Northwestern? Haha I saw Jars, Audio A, and the Supertones there. Caught Showbread opening for Blindside right around the time their first album came out. It was pure chaos.

Accidentally played a show with Copeland 2 months before Beneath Medicine Tree came out. We were excited to be opening for Nodes of Ranvier and some other band they brought out to support them, haha

I’ll have to check out the whole podcast. Wesley Huff has been fantastic with the platform he’s been given.

@justnx92 @korupteddonkey As someone who has deployed to the Middle East, this is very much different than the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. No boots on the ground. Only bombing of gov’t and military targets. It will be up to the people of Iran to overturn the regime and put in place a better gov’t.

@korupteddonkey Im far from being a Dem, but can you at least acknowledge the rinse and repeat of every US president being involved in some kind of unnecessary conflict in Middle East for the past ~50yrs.
