My prediction:
This coaching staff gets one more season, due to Jones injury/Sauce trade
Re-sign Jones & go all chips in for 1 last ride. Veterans on defense like Gardner, Sauce, DBuck, all healthy.
Make the playoffs, coaching staff/Ballard remain

Despite speculation to the contrary, Colts CB Charvarius Ward has no intention of retiring, despite being placed on injured reserve this past week due to a third concussion, per source. Ward wants to continue playing, and even wanted to avoid being placed on injured reserve this past week before the organization shut him down.

Gunner Olszewski is inactive. Unbelievable. The Giants have two returners on their practice squad. Ihmir Smith-Marsette, who performed well in the role last season, and Xavier Gipson, who they re-signed this week. They didn't elevate either player despite Olszewski not being cleared from the concussion protocol by yesterday's elevation deadline...

Let me add to this: It’s a super aggressive timeline but the Colts think it’s possible. And it seems this thinking is going to inform their offseason approach to free agency, personnel, etc. They are NOT punting on 2026.
