Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow launched on Nintendo DS in 2005. This direct sequel to Aria of Sorrow gave Soma Cruz powerful soul absorption and used the touch screen for spell seals. Many still call it one of the strongest handheld Castlevanias ever made.
