GitLab announced a layoff today. Please take this seriously. There will be many, many more. Your assignment is clear: Get skilled with agents and practice shipping to prod. It doesn't matter if you're HR, eng, infra, customer success, admin, ops, sales, whatever. As a Founder/CEO, I can tell you that I won't be hiring any employees who aren't really skilled with agents and able to ship to prod. I'm not alone in this. There is no 'engineering' org in the future.

Many in the community believe this is in preparation for Classic Plus, which is expected to be announced at this year’s BlizzCon. Private servers such as Everlook, Project Epoch, Stormforge and especially the popular Turtle WoW have all been shut down or are in their final days. One private server that has weathered the storm is Ascension WoW. Not only has it stayed online, but it has also been bold enough to launch its own Classic Plus server, Conquest of Azeroth, with it's Beta set to launch next month. Current speculation is that Ascension WoW data centres are hosted in Russia or other Eastern European countries which make it difficult for Blizzard to take down.

I genuinely cannot imagine a more miserable way to experience an MMO than having to re-roll your character every month to chase whatever is currently the most powerful class. Making everything hyper-competetive SUCKS.

@pcgamer The only thing that I want form this is actual tech upgrades. Better graphics, better lighting, better effects, more ambient content and even physics. A real update to the engine.

1. seems like you're creating projects. creating a thread literally kicks off a new session in a project aka folder 2. showing an unstyled pop-up window of any sort? yuck. also, I'd have to account for each and every version of file explorer and tiling manager ever and that is just... not happening. This is how Codex shows file picker when clicked (from a fullscreen experience). Yeah obvs, it's a hacked linux instance of the app, but if it eventually ships like that, this is BAD. I'll have a look 2. as you said, there's an extension. this would be opening a can of worms of trying to support every provider parameter ever, which goes completely against what Pi itself is trying to do. If it lands in Pi core, I'll implement it (however, Mario specifically said he ain't doing per-provider stuff). I've been through this with a plugin for Opencode that tracked usage quotas in subscriptions, and suddenly I had users requesting support for tracking multiple openrouter api keys or tracking usage of local LLM tokens (or something like that). Clearly had nothing to do with the intended use case.

@Howaboua - Using cmd+q wont quit the app it keeps rather and clicking on it from dock proceed to show the window without any projects - openai-codex is missing fast-mode option (there Pi extension for it, but would be nice baked in)
