JD Shoemaker

Valedictorian Steven Shoemaker comes from a family of Firefighters. His father, John Shoemaker, is a Battalion Chief and his brother, Jason Shoemaker, is assigned to Rescue 4. He says their love for the job inspired him to join the FDNY. Steven will join the 326 Probationary Firefighters graduating from the Fire Academy on Wednesday.
