National media doesn’t hate the Hurricanes, we’re just running out of things to say about them. Everybody already respects them.
They’ve played the exact same suffocating style for eight straight games and steamrolled basically everyone in front of them.
Nothing about this run has been shocking, it’s exactly what they were built to do.
At this point, the only real discussion left is who’s actually capable of beating them and whether anyone has a blueprint to do it.

@AvsCanesFan @ksuvet68 Honestly: no, as far as MTL is concerned. Habs are not getting tons at 5v5 from Suzuki line because they are being used similarly to Aho line. But they are getting tons of depth scoring and it's not just coming from one line. If Aho/Suzuki cancel Habs could win depth scoring.

I think the big question for the ECF is are the Canes going to start getting consistent offensive output from the Aho line.
If Stankoven's line continues to contribute in ECF and Aho's line contributes then I think the Canes are bound for the SCF.

@B_Inacio_ @corylav @FriedgeHNIC Blake will most likely crack the lineup next year. He’s only a year younger than Jarvis and already proved a lot in 2 years of college. Having him sit in the AHL makes little sense and his ELC will allow them to have more freedom in signing guys.
