Good morning beautiful people.. today is a GREAT day.. it is the biggest day of the year for our sport.. after a lonnng tumultuous season, filled with wild scenes and crazy turns, today is the day that our 2024/2025 World Champion is crowned. 32 NFL teams start at the bottom of Lombardi Mountain each year.. All hoping to reach the pinnacle. The climax if you will.. Everything they do revolves around the mission of making it to today. I was very lucky to ride the coattails of a great team and experience the Super Bowl once but.. never got to experience the confetti falling in our favor. It’s a damn near impossible feat. You need a shit ton of luck, an abundance of talent, and “IT”… whatever the hell that is, you know it when you see it. This year’s season felt like it flew by.. 17 games for everyone, seemingly in a snap of a finger. There was really bad football to start the year and we were all happy as hell to see some great football when it came. There were some blowouts which made the slew of thrillers even better.. A Hail Mary and a few blocked kicks won games this year. Some notoriously shite organizations found their way back into relevancy, while some teams still can’t figure it out and may never figure it out to be honest.. New stars were born.. New rules were tested.. and inevitably in the end.. The Back to Back Champs and an Old School power football team are the final 2 standing. I can’t thank the players enough for their commitment to their professions and giving us an entertaining year.. to the coaches who haven’t really seen their families since training camp, THANK YOU for your love of the game.. and to the organizations investing millions… AND MILLLIONS.. of dollars into the league for us to be able to enjoy.. THANK YOU as well. We got 1 game left.. let’s enjoy the shit out of it. Cheers to the NFL Season.
