MY SON THINKS I'M MAKING THIS UP... DOES ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER WAKING UP TO FRESH MILK IN GLASS BOTTLES ON THE DOORSTEP, DELIVERED EARLY IN THE MORNING BY THE MILKMAN?
Due to multiple bricks being deliberately thrown at and smashing several bus windows this evening near St Bede’s School, the 5A and 5C services are suspended with immediate effect and will remain cancelled until further notice.
We will never put the safety of our drivers or passengers at risk to accommodate mindless, cowardly violence.
Throwing bricks at moving vehicles is not “having a laugh”—it is reckless endangerment that will one day kill or maim someone.
The individuals responsible are not clever or funny; they are dangerous idiots whose actions will eventually leave them facing serious criminal charges.
We will not resume these routes until we can guarantee a safe environment for everyone on board.
Safety is non-negotiable. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Popped into Drs surgery & was told no available appointments today & yet waiting room was completely empty.

@CostaCoffee@JugTheKel For some people it would be easier like that but also it's a lot safer. I actually think that should be standard- gives a gap to avoid spillages in busy situations.
It's just trying to keep you safe.
Oh dear, it seems @CostaCoffee have been hanging out with @McDonaldsUK for underfilling the drinks (this is before you cut through the foam so the drink starts even lower down #sigh )
A full inch before the inch of foam :(
@RossLydall Well they do get underground and docklands for free. Maybe the solution give them what is the case in a large area is bus only. Other area concessionary passes only cover buses. I'd suggest removing the underground element and get them to pay like a minimum £2.50 like everyone.
@NetworkRailLST Hi, I can not see it on the map. Was a second lift installed between concourse and platform entrances? It has been mentioned on YouTube so it might have been temporary.
