I can't say for sure but these 2 bears are very close together: an adult male & adult female. They've been hanging out side-by-side for days now. If I were to wager, high odds on polar bear hanky-panky.

Poor ice conditions for polar bears at Svalbard this year. Low ice will make tough hunting conditions this coming spring. Time to plan for more human-bear conflicts unless conditions change.
