An important summary of progress (or not) over the past 20 years. Seem to have not come very far from my 2005 Reporting Intangibles paper that we are "flying blind." Key to future may be Integrated Reporting and future research focused on disclosure rather than accounting.

My latest co-authored paper with Henri Hussinki, Tatiana King, and Erik Steinhöfel. This paper should be a game changer in how scholars and policymakers think about accounting for intangibles. The paper is Gold Open Access, so you can download for free. emerald.com/insight/conten…

A good start to today by receiving an Outstanding Reviewer award from the Journal of Accounting & Organisational Change. Reviewing articles is an important and necessary part of the peer review process. Getting recognition for reviewing is a badge I will proudly wear!

Last semester, my CPA Global Strategy and Leadership course students performed extremely well. As a result, I received a nice recognition from the CPA for my contribution. Always nice to see teaching being recognised as research is often the focus.
