@cicero_mn Nowthen doesn't have a police department, it's administered by Anoka County. So the county is in on the surveillance state too? I know, dumb question.

@tpwallisch @BrilliantMaps Clearwater Travel Center is hard to beat. Pete and Joy's in Little falls is up near the top.

My wife said I was brave to have this just before getting on a plane

My verdict? Not bad. Their hot sauce, though? 🤮

@cicero_mn Did you see how the Anoka co sheriff did the contract for $174,999 so it didn't need board approval?
English

@cicero_mn I noticed that too!!! I thought maybe the smoke had gotten to my head?

@keplerswitch This is how we ended up with a dodge. Still cheaper than what we would have spent on a Toyota/Honda after putting a transmission in.
Owning a minivan is like having a small truck: It can haul big things. It can tow a mid sized trailer.

@tpwallisch The train sounds amazing. The wildlife boat tour was my wife's favorite. Seward was great. We saw a lot of wildlife while fishing too, nothing like fishing and seeing the whales off in the distance. We actually had to move because they were too close.

@jebx99 The most scenic was sunset over Denali as seen from Talkeetna. The train ride from Anchorage to Seward was also epically beautiful. The wildlife boat tour out of Seward was just so full of actual sea life that it seemed contrived! So cool.

@jebx99 I’m still trying to wrap my head around hiking with no trails. Better have paid attention in those orienteering merit badge sessions, eh?
English

@tpwallisch We went on a hike - didn't pay attention to time, ended up coming back at 1AM.
English

@tpwallisch Everything. The fishing, mountains, ocean, rivers. We did some amazing hikes. In Denali Backcountry, there are no trails, free hiking. Stopping the bus and getting off to hike is a memory. That hike, We saw a fossilized dinosaur print.

@Joeinblack Heck yeah! I own a 3/4" drive over side set. Used more than I ever thought I would. Have a few other extraneous ones for a special job, washing machine hub 2-1/8 nut and the 1 - 1/2" impact I use for many hitch balls. Axle hub set is pretty useful too, would include a 36.

@keplerswitch You need some sort of bait for them to take to the nest. The bifen will kill them on contact and keep them away for a time, but more will come back. Bifen is a bit of a bandaid, but will certainly kill them and keep them out/away while you figure out the rest.
English

@keplerswitch Get some bifen and pump spray the area. You need to find their parent nest. Deal with overhanging branches that would give them access from a tree. Also fixing the water issue that's causing the rotting will help.
