@benonwine I went from Heathrow to Seattle, it was a long flight. I was only 18 or 19 and my suitcase went missing, eventually it was found and I went through the customs when 2 men in raincoats came up, they pulled out there badges and said “we’re from the FBI” and I was interrogated.

My boyfriend and I are planning to buy a house together after dating for 3 years. He earns significantly more than I do, so he’d be contributing about 70% of the down payment. Because of that, he wants the house to be only in his name. He says it’s just “fair” based on the numbers, but we’d both be living there, splitting bills, and building a life together. I’ve been watching a lot of relationship content about equity vs equality, and it made me realize things don’t always have to be 50/50 but this feels like I’d have no security at all. He said if we ever broke up, he’d “do the right thing,” but that doesn’t really reassure me. My friends say don’t move in unless my name is on it. His friends apparently think I’m being entitled. Now I feel stuck between trusting him and protecting myself. Is this a red flag I’m trying too hard to rationalize?

This blonde mechanic in the Bugatti polo stands in a junkyard smiling ear to ear next to a rusty wreck of a Bugatti Atlantic that looks like it’s been sitting there since the 1930s. What follows is pure magic: blue-gloved hands scrubbing decades of grime, pistons sliding into a spotless engine block, angle grinders throwing sparks like fireworks, welding torches glowing orange on fresh metal, glossy paint being sprayed across the hood, and finally the finished V12 engine being lowered in like it’s the crown jewel of an $8 million resurrection. Day Two: Jungle training continues and we got a traditional Thai long boat to take us further off grid. Long the way we spotted some wild elephants as well as taking in the beautiful scenery😍

Nearly home so here’s what I got up to in the Jungle. Day One: I worked in an elephant sanctuary helping to prepare food and fed some of the elephants.

Good morning all, cinema this morning, then five guys for lunch, I know, i know, its expensive, but Ryan absolutely loves it, and we really like the customer service, staff are always polite, and Ryan will sit happily cracking open and eating the peanuts which means he's less likely to get bored and wander off, the peanuts have become a accidental fiddle / Sensory item. @DavidBegnaud This was so nice to see, I have been deaf all my life wearing hearing aids so feel qualified to make an opinion, he has very good speech which is fine but in order to talk you have to hear sounds which makes you join words together. I hope that he’s very happy.

Ryder Boen, 12, was born with hearing loss in both ears. In February, Hearts for Hearing gave him the world's only smart cochlear implant system. When they turned it on, he heard sound in a whole new way.

So my husband wants to paint this gorgeous 1905 built-in hutch WHITE and I'm about ready to check myself into marriage counseling over it. Help settle our debate before I lose my mind! He claims it would “brighten the room” and “look more modern,” but I think painting over that original carved wood detail is basically a crime against history. I’ve been collecting vintage pieces to display in it — just found some beautiful Depression glass from an estate sale seller on the shop — and the warm wood tone makes everything glow. But he’s convinced white paint would make our Christmas villages and collectibles “pop” better. The worst part? He found some DIY painting guide online and now he’s determined to prove he can pull it off himself. I swear he just wants a project to show off. I even suggested we hire someone I found in a DIY group on the shop to professionally restore the wood finish instead, but he’s still team paint. Am I being too precious about preserving the original wood, or is he the crazy one for wanting to slap paint on this beauty? Someone please tell me I’m not insane for protecting this hutch like it’s my third child! Credit - Sophie Chapman
