TKO is going around asking various WWE talents to take pay cuts, with some as high as 50%. That’s actually insane. No wonder Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods left. They’re really trying to turn WWE contracts into something closer to UFC deals.

US professional sports are really useful because they constitute one of the most "vulgar" capitalist scenarios imaginable: workers very transparently create *all* the value in these leagues where ownership very transparently does *nothing* but control the means of production

And that's a big deal because it’s a partnership with ownership, the league and we're on the short term of that revenue" "The idea that we can't participate in equity while we're playing is a part of why I would say yes, we are underpaid because you want to be able to participate in that rise" "I know we're blessed to be in a position where we're playing basketball for a living, and these are the type of checks that people are earning" "Hopefully sooner than later those rules change a little bit so that players can participate more in the upside of team equity. Prates is so good at mixing his speeds and power. Touch, boom. Boom. Touch touch. Breaking rhythm and scoring off it consistently. JDM needs to either make this fight way more rugged or start shooting. But range striking ain’t the answer for him tonight.
