I have a childhood friend who grew up in one of the poorest villages in Montenegro - moved to New York 2017 alone. All alone. He was always a quiet kid and never asked for help. Found the job. Alone. Worked and minded his own business pursuing his dream. Fast forward 9yrs - he manages a 100unit building in Brooklyn. Owns 2 homes in Pennsylvania. And makes around 250k a Year. Sends his parents money every month. He made it. And Elons Networth didnt stop him haha But then! I have a cousin. Born & Raised in NYC Fordham University graduate. Is a barista … - and shares a tiny apartment with a bunch of liberals & gays complaining about “capitalism” because they deep down know… Its all their fault for failing. - no excuses man. Strive for Greatness. Dont bitch.

Only gimps and retards complain about their upbringing. You got given a chance at life, where others don't have food to feed themselves. Yeah I got my first phone whilst I was in Grammar school, Year 7 Sony Xperia, old phone my dad had when he was on a phone contract. What a day that was.

Yea sorry you had that luck, I know how it looks. I did elementary in Montenegro and this was right when the wars ended in the region. Everyone was struggling. Some were in very bad shape. - then there was me with a flip phone (only in my class) because my mother needed to know where I was at all time

I wish, we didn't have consoles for the most part, games felt like a luxury, I remember vividly, we used to open the fridge and there was a block of cheese, margarine, and some milk. I remember my mother used to try and cook soups from meat scraps we had from a discounted rotisserie chicken etc. In Eastern Europe when I was little (6ish) we had a school shop, and I didn't even have change to buy one of those sour sweets for like 5 cents (conversion) whilst I saw other kids were buying lunches etc. pissed me off more than anything, not on my parents but on me, why I couldn't make money at that age. I was the person that was so proud that I said to myself that I'd rather put a bullet in my skull than be anywhere close to that poverty again, so I studied, got multiple degrees and now having a relatively good life with some bumps along the way :)

Yea you are a great guy & those harsh moments made you into who you are today. Sometimes you sound like you did grow up with everything haha (Educated aspect) - i grew up with everything But my parents were extremely poor. My dad took baths with cold buckets , no lights in the house and had to walk for hours to sell the vegetables he grew with his family at age 10. And they sent me to private schools but never gave me more than €5 in Montenegro (sometimes only €2 haha) and no more than a 20 in NYC. Even when I was 21 , I only had 10-20$ in my pocket. Not trying to sound like “omg poor me” but being around wealthy folks with just $20 felt like I was “struggling” haha missed out on quite a lot of experiences. This small thing they did for years did make me see the world differently & im grateful for it. Im not a total snob like some of my boys haha

@jeeniuzz I grew up in extremely poor family, we bought clothes from charity shops, barely had any food in the fridge due to bills / mortgage etc. That's where resilience to bad times was built, people who grew up with money will never get to experience this.

What happens when rates are raised Central bank raises rates: - Borrowing becomes more expensive - Mortgages and loans often become costlier - Consumers spend less - Businesses invest less - Demand in the economy slows - Inflation tends to fall over time For example: If inflation is running at 6% while the target is 2%, a central bank may raise rates to cool spending - What happens when rates are cut: Central bank cuts rates - Borrowing becomes cheaper - Mortgages and loans may become cheaper - Consumers spend more - Businesses invest more - Economic activity increases - Inflation tends to rise over time For example: During a recession, a central bank may cut rates to stimulate growth
