Now can we have a graph for verified helpful apps or helpful improvements? It's easy to see how this is going to end, Steam has been going through this exact scenario (game count goes up exponentially, game quality does not) for past 3-5 years.

@jeepstone Meant more as projects than codebase quality - all these posts say they are doing 10k lines of code, but not that it's moving projects in the right direction 😅

Interesting that everyone shares how incredibly fast they are now going. Hardly anyone is sharing how they are going in the right direction.

@sainsburys if there are 2x150g in this packet of noodles which figure for carbs are correct. One says per 100g is 24.9 or per half pack (150g?) is 43.5g. One must be wrong as 24.9g x 1.5 is 37.5g? Which is it?

@coopuk do you ever check the clarity of your ingredients? T1 Diabetic looking at Tuna Mayo and at a first glance it reads as 72g of carbs per 100g. This seemed wrong so zoomed in and spotted the decimal point. A factor of 10 more insulin for a Diabetic is not a good thing.

Just finished Atoms to Ashes by @SPlokhy. As per his previous Chernobyl book, a perfect mixture of fact and terror. I wonder if he'll ever write a similar book on fusion... One hopes not but our appetite and wrecklessness sometimes knows no bounds.

It still amazes me that Ruby (on Rails) (as highlighted in the graph in "How many PHP developers are there in the world?" section) has so few developers, yet it's constantly mentioned in articles.

When he signed off from his last major tournament as an anchor, Des Lynam was two years younger than Gary Lineker is now. That slightly blows my mind.

I don't tend to vent by X that often but @SendGrid/@twilio have gone from me actively recommending them to me ranting about them in the last 5 days. AWFUL support experience to the point where they are damaging businesses through their inadequate processes.

@SendGrid suspended our account due to a single compromised key (of about 80) with no notice or detail. 3 days in and every client we support has a huge backlog of emails. Despite us resolving the issue in minutes nothing from Sendgrid. They have crippled our services.
