This landing page is loud… and empty Vague headlines kill trust No clear outcome = no clicks I rewrote this SaaS hero for busy owners Clarity changed everything See the full teardown ↓ drive.google.com/drive/folders/… Sample audit (not affiliated with the company)

Congrats on the PH launch 🚀 Checked out Open Vibe. Really smart positioning. One thing I noticed in the hero: The headline frames the product as a SaaS shipping tool, while the subheadline frames it as an AI coding tutor. So the first impression and the deeper message feel slightly disconnected. Honestly, think something like: “Ship SaaS. Not Confusion.” would hit harder. Because it immediately speaks to the emotional state of beginner builders & makes subhead feel more cohesive. Cool product either way 👌

Your visitors aren’t confused because your product is complex. They’re confused because your copy skips context. The copy assumes the buyer knows more than they actually do. That’s usually where conversion leaks start. I break down SaaS pages like this every week. The interesting part is rarely what companies say. It’s what they can afford not to say.

What early-stage SaaS should do instead: Do NOT copy enterprise homepage patterns blindly. You probably haven’t earned abstraction yet. Instead: - Lead with the painful operational problem. - Bad: “Reinvent customer intelligence” - Better: “See every customer risk before churn happens” - Remove cognitive work. Add friction-killers near the CTA: - no credit card - quick onboarding - setup time - implementation clarity And if you lack brand logos: replace borrowed trust with experiential proof. Show: - the workflow - the output - the before/after - the transformation Unknown products need evidence. Known products can sell emotion.

Most SaaS hero sections try to explain everything. This one barely explains anything. And that’s exactly why it works. Notion’s homepage is a masterclass in understanding buyer awareness. Most founders would copy it. Most founders absolutely shouldn't. Here’s the teardown ↓

The design is top-notch. I don’t see a strong differentiation in the positioning, it feels like other tools could do this as well. The feature copy could also be more emotional and speak more directly to the user’s pain points. Also, in the section with the green background, the text is a bit hard to read because the contrast feels too strong.

Love your article. Teams are usually too close to their product to see it the way a first-time visitor does. That’s why user testing is so important. It uncovers the real friction behind why people bounce. Also, like Joanna Wiebe says, thank-you page surveys are a goldmine for understanding users better.

That’s awesome to hear, and honestly, props for being open to feedback this close to launch. Most founders get emotionally attached to messaging 😅 The product direction is genuinely strong. The “see why users leave” angle is compelling because it turns invisible friction into something actionable. Excited to see the launch go live 🚀

Your landing page works. Your product is great. But visitors keep leaving. I've been building @whygoai to fix this. AI watches every session. Tells you WHY they left. Try it. Give me your opinion. whygoai.pro Launches May 14 on Product Hunt.

@jeevankumar_ccf @metafarhad Hi Jeevan, thanks so much for trying it out and giving feedback! I don't want to tell too much about the backend, but it's quite a simple system in the backend, nothing too complex :)

@SammyLandix4o That’s beautiful. One thing I noticed is that the images could feel more personal and human. It would make the page feel more emotional and relatable.
