It's the 1st business day of Q4 2022, meaning it's time for #prodmgmt to check their roadmaps & ask... - Did what was on the roadmap for Q3 get done?😲 - How confident are we in plan for Q4?😬 - Do we have anything on the roadmap for 2024, or is it just "TBD"?😰

The clearest sign of intellectual chemistry isn't agreeing with someone. It's enjoying your disagreements with them. Harmony is the pleasing arrangement of different tones, voices, or instruments, not the combination of identical sounds. Creative tension makes beautiful music.

@RichMironov When I book a vacation, I want to feel excited. When I submit an assignment --> relieved. When I share a video of my family --> warm+fuzzy. The copy, interaction design, etc. influence emotions. A lighthearted UX may be ok for commenting on a family video but not an obituary.

Idea: Add "emotional requirements" to requirements/epics/user stories. In addition to capturing the desired outcome or action for the persona, articulate how we want them to FEEL during and afterwards. (e.g. Relieved? Grateful? Excited?) #prodmgmt

#ProdMgmtDailyTip 365: Take a break. Turn off your device. Forget about work for a bit. #ProdMgmt is great, but it's not life. Everyone needs time to recharge. Then, when you come back, you'll be more refreshed and maybe have new inspiration that you picked up while offline.
