If I see one more senior PS leader talk about getting accommodations I might cry. Most of them have never had to navigate an accommodations request or the demoralizing position it puts people in. It can take months to years to access accommodations + is reliant on good managers.

I saw a convo that isn’t reflective of the situation on the ground. I see people losing compressed, flexible schedules, remote work + basic accommodations everyday. I’ve seen it for a decade. To pretend it’s fair or equitable because a process exists doesn’t make it accessible.

Woth so many more people trying to seek accommodations it becomes even further out of reach for those with disabilities. The scrutiny is incredible. The support not nearly present enough. I’m disgusted to see so many people with power and authority miss the impact here.
