Unlike @SenTomCotton , I don't answer to party bosses or corporate lobbyists. Cotton’s record is defined by rubber-stamping endless wars and expanding government surveillance. I’m offering a different path: protecting your privacy, ending foreign intervention, and putting #Arkansas first. Let’s trade the status quo for real liberty.

I'm fine with elections reforms, but not implemented quickly, which is an obvious ploy to manipulate outcomes. Voters need time to adapt... Get or find their birth certificates, marriage certificates, passports, etc. I'm for keeping the filibuster. The Senate has a long tradition of being the more stoic and rational body in congress. I'm for reducing the size of government, but not in a slash and burn way. And lastly, I'm not for any political tribe -- left, right or center. I'm a pragmatist. When politicians and voters pledge blind loyalty to a party or a person, they're no longer an active participant in a healthy democracy. I understand it feels good to win, but authoritarianism is not winning. Personal liberty is paramount. Every person and family should be free to live their lives as they please. We don't need to tread on each other, just like the flag says.

The JCPOA deal with Iran wasn’t perfect. But it was working at the one thing it was designed to do: keep Iran’s nuclear program limited and inspected. Cotton helped blow up the framework, and now Washington wants to pretend bombs can replace inspectors, leverage, and serious diplomacy. And what are we trying to do now? Negotiate. And we think they're going to be more supplicant after bombing them? What we're seeing is the opposite. Like the Taliban said, we have the watches, but they have the time. They just have to wait us out. Negotiations take carrots and sticks. Not just sticks. Thanks for your question. I appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with you.
