I was lucky enough to hear Low perform 3-4 times, maybe 5. This was from July 2006 when they played at midnight in Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis.

@sound_assembler @matthewburtner syntax of snow is also cool, though it's more than 10 years old now. The performer uses a bowl full of snow as part of the sound.

@mttsrgnt @sound_assembler on a trip back from Minnesota 7-8 years ago, Trevor and I spent most of the trip trying to come up with our favorite winter movies and TV shows.

i had a student the past few semesters during all of this that transferred in and is about to graduate, after this afternoon’s final finished they came back in to say thanks and that they got a lot out of my classes, I gave them a high five (normally I do during non pandemic)

Tested out parts of my new web-based audience participation piece on some unsuspecting students today. The system is ready: display notation for traditional instruments, divide audience members into groups, start/stop performance times/order, capture & display input gesture, etc
