@benshapiro This is an excellent example of why we should teach anthropology in grade school. Most societies have three or more genders, accept and even honor homosexuality, and are in no way built around a typical American concept of the nuclear family. They've lasted millennia.

Any society that isn't normatively based on heterosexual family formation is definitionally doomed to collapse. Pretending that society ought to be apathetic about such matters -- or even worse, condemnatory of the presence of traditional norms -- is civilizationally suicidal.

Baxter, et. al is a meta-analysis of four randomised controlled trials. And even this says, "results as poor as those from Minneapolis are a striking exception."

@auweia1 @AurelioVidal @GrandOlPatriots Great. No one brought up this organization. I was talking about housing first as a policy. That an org that doesn't actually pursue that policy has a bunch of problems doesn't sound like a great case for why the policy is bad.

@auweia1 @AurelioVidal @GrandOlPatriots Really couldn't tell you, I don't like in San Francisco and I don't know all the specifics. All I know is that when we deal in data and not anecdotes, housing first always comes out as a proven solution to homelessness.
