I suggest you simply shut down ENS and stop pretending being the go-to security solution for Ethereum users. 1. None of the existing wallet integrations will warn users if the "owner" of the name changed, silently redirecting funds (happened to me, will happen to others). 2. You position ENS as protection against adresss poisoning, but a lifetime subscription costs >$500. Users that are not able to afford it, are called out as poor by the dudes you are paying for posting on X. 3. Name expirations are an invitation for scammers to send out phishing emails to users. 4. If a name can expire and a user has to check the expiration date before using the name on an invoice, the name is useless. ENS is a net negative for this space. By shutting it down, you can contribute to the security of the space. Just focus on DNS or whatever you are doing there. Don’t try to normalize expiring names for bank accounts.
