At least five World Central Kitchen aid workers were killed in an Israeli air strike that targeted their clearly marked vehicle in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The victims included the head of the collective kitchens east of Khan Younis, Azem Abu Daqqa, and two others who were helping to retrieve the bodies of the three workers who were killed, when a drone fired a missile directly at them. This is not the first time that the Israeli forces have targeted employees of the World Central Kitchen, seven workers were killed in February earlier this year when the team was leaving a food aid warehouse in Deir al-Balah.
