My old neighbour tells me that in the old days there were Milkmen who every morning drove an Electric Vehicle & delivered milk in glass bottles with foil caps & who would pick up the empty bottles. This is the greenest thing I have ever heard! Why did we stop this?

Chancellor tipped me off before budget, said this was due in large to MSE/my shows campaigning all based on all those of your who messaged me to say it was the key thing to put to him So 1) From this April threshold which hasn't moved since 2013 rises from a single parent earning £50,000 to £60,000 and you lose child benefit totally at £80,000 (not £60,000) 2) Consultation on moving it to family income not individual income and hopefully that'll be in place from April 2026 (this is to stop unfairness for single income/single parent) families. #Budget2024 #BudgetXplanations

I often buy these yoghurts. 1. They have great flavours (peach melba, apple, hazelnut, as well as more standard like the pic) 2. The company itself seems great. They have 120 staff - 26 have been working there more thsn quarter of a century. Look at the recent retirements:

Genuinely think there needs to be a petition to bring the costs of holidays down - outside of term time. The difference between term time and outside of term time is hundreds of pounds. Why should teachers always pay a ridiculous amount for holidays that others can get for less?
