Did my first ever 5km Park Run today in 33 mins and 41secs! Pretty chuffed with that! It was pouring of rain! Might have caught the running bug 🏃‍♀️ 🏆

Absolutely mad few days! Mr T turned 3 on Friday 🎂 🎈 and we had 22 toddlers for a party yesterday 😂🫠🥳 I passed my NPQ in Leading Teacher Development on Wednesday - celebrated by a jolly 3km run to the pub (up hill 😂) 🍾🏆

Tell me I am not alone when answering NPQ assessments do you constantly doubt everything you’re writing?! 😵‍💫😴 Long day.

Stepped into my car this morning to discover I did but have enough 🪫 for a round trip to school. So spent 10 mins recharging at Glos Services 😂 My head is in NPQ assessment window land… 😬 Very much needing the weekend and a childfree Saturday to hammer out my answers 🖊️ 📖

NPQ assessment week has arrived. Unsure if I am highly stressed, or simply relieved that soon it will be done and out my life and there’s nothing more I can do about it 😂😂 Looking forward to an empty house next weekend to write as my husband takes Mr T away ☺️

Last night: Romanian deadlifting 50kg Tonight: eating an entire large Dominos. Life is all about balance 😂

Today it happened. It’s never happened to em before. Today I called Jacob Marley ‘Bob Marley’. I laughed at myself in front of my Year 10s- some of them got the Freudian slip others looked blankly back at me. Week 3 of term almost complete 🤩

Monday: I have acquired a 1cm long paper cut on my thumb. This is going to bug me all week… Pathetically small; mighty sting 😭🫣

@nourishworkplce Arrive: 7.15am every morning Leave around 4pm-ish on 2 days on Week 1 and 3 days on Week 2 Leave 3.10pm 2 days to go to the gym each week before nursery pick up 🏋️‍♀️ Try not to work in evenings… but my toddler ensures this currently 😂🫠

What time to you get to work? (No judgement, just curious!)

Not to be hyperbolic but the amount of stuff teachers/leaders are asked to do in the first WEEK of term is an actual crime. Ex analysis, phone calls, do this online training, sign this, order this, subject action plan, meet this person, organise LM meetings, on top of teaching.

Great ideas in this! Nothing worse than that ‘first lesson faff’ of getting everyone to sit in the correct place!

Came home from first day of term to find my seed plant babies living their best life. Insane that I have managed to keep these plants growing (and a toddler too😂)!

Not doing a back to new term post! Instead, tell me where to go in Miami: where to stay; where to eat; what to see and do?! Never go back to work without a holiday in the pipeline 😂😂

Mind that time we were abroad and Mr T got chicken pox… we then couldn’t fly home when we were meant to. Don’t recommend. Wish we’d had access to a chicken pox vaccine in January 2025. Please vaccinate your littlies with all the things. Kids get so ill 😢

Can’t believe it but tonight I smashed out a 5km run that I absolutely had not planned to do this week 🥹🤯🫣🤩😎 I’ve been on a real strength building PT programme since end of April. Small consistencies each day; big goals long term 💪 🏆 @WeAreERC

We went to Denmark. We went to the home of everything Lego. Mr T went Duplo diving. Best times had 🥰An excellent time was had by all as we were all fit and healthy and actually flew back the day we were meant to. Faith resorted in family abroad holidays 🩵

Has anyone in my network run a school trip to Billund/Vijle (Denmark) and included a day at LegoLand/ Lego House? Curious to know if any UK based schools have done such a trip and would love to pick your brains…. 👀 (Currently here and it’s fabulous!)
