@hewantswealth Simply mis informed. You have to apply for the HC discounts etc. it’s based on the lowest incomes AND outgoing. So not just unemployed - I’ve got lots of working families eligible as they earn too little

Picked up a prescription today and had to pay £10. Woman asked if I get it free, to which I answered, how would I get it free out of curiosity? She said if I was unemployed, on JSA or any other income benefits…got me thinking. The incentive to NOT work in this country just comes with too many benefits! If you work, you pay…if you don’t work, you get it free! What’s the point, honestly? 😂 Can’t even save tax free in my ISA as of next year…very unserious country we live in the UK.

My new neighbors have 4 little kids. I'm guessing 1 to 7 or 8 years old. They put one of those little blow up pools in their backyard and those kids are having a blast. I think the most joyous sound in the world is kids playing and laughing. Neighborhood ungrade.
