Should any corporation have control of your ability to effectively communicate over the internet? Algorithms and social media giants intentionally diminish and amplify voices which impede our freedom of speech, and human rights. Hate speech is an exception.

I feel like a two dollar bill. I’m not worth a whole lot, but I’m pretty rare.

@saramolcan That sounds so frustrating- I hate when they F Canadians, also hate when they use dhl: insane fees unrelated to tax called customs brokerage fees which they just pocket. U buy a 10$ product. You’re charged 1.30$ tax, 10$ customs and 10$ for brokerage and now it’s 21.30 on 10$.

@tetonotsorry lol yes I am a professional artist I understand how the art world works - and I have also released nft’s - the nft community is different - they want you to share and post all the time and sell yourself- more emphasis on community and selling than on quality of work or relevance

@jenkmann I never, ever, said, that you need to sell yourself to be relevant. But that you need to find the right target for your work and therefore to bring the right context to the right people. Wether it's online, offline in a gallery or whatever.

So many artists struggling with self esteem, it's crazy what this society did to us. #NFT will change that.

@tetonotsorry You shouldn’t need to sell yourself to be relevant - the work I’m making has serious content and a reason to exist - I’m not willing to shill to prove it

@jenkmann I can understand your frustration and I feel sorry for you, however it still opens many new doors and possibilities for artists around the world. Either IRL or URL you would’ve need to be able to sell your story, your POV & your art. But the hype around NFTs now doesn’t help tho.

@shagun_damadia @tetonotsorry Hi friend I believe I do create art for the sake of art and not all about selling which is why I’m not shilling and promoting my nft more than just releasing it - it has value and I don’t need to act like a car salesman for it to have value.

@jenkmann @tetonotsorry I guess creating just for sake of selling might not go down good, but it will definitely help artists who create good artworks and deserve their money. I don't think there's anything wrong getting deserved money. I understand your pov tho; but I guess it will go good.
