Everytime Ilya sees it, he pretends he hasn’t. It’s late and Shane is half-dressed, shirt abandoned somewhere on the floor, hair still damp from the shower. Ilya is stretched out on the bed, watching him. And there, on Shane’s wrist, is the mark.

my friend (who i thought was straight) wrote me a back-to-back letter with around 14 paragraphs for valentine’s day, and a bouquet of flowers. the sad part is i’m the one who doesn’t like her back and only see her as a friend. here’s a paragraph from the letter she wrote to me.

Honestly, I didn't like the documentary. I've watched all BTS documentaries as well as the solo ones, but this one missed some very important aspects. For example, the album has 14 tracks, yet the entire film, titled as BTS: The Return, focuses on only two songs, and really more on just one. Why didn't we see the creative process behind the other tracks? Yes, the visuals are great, Netflix knows how to make things look beautiful, but it makes no sense for a documentary about BTS's comeback to center on just two songs, skip the early stages of production, barely show discussions with producers, and present the story in such an uneven way, without proper interview segments that would reflect each member's perspective on the tracks. Instead, there's an excessive focus on things like deciding between the long or short version of Arirang in Body to Body. Seeing Nicole's completely irrelevant take on Black Swan and ON in the interview was enough for me to once again realize how little they actually study this fandom. But failing to grasp something as basic as the need to properly showcase the album's creation process, especially compared to previous documentaries, is just strange.
