It’s been one week since #marburg outbreak was declared in 🇹🇿 and work is underway. Under the leadership of our Director General @DrTedros, @WHO committed $3million towards this fight in addition to ongoing technical assistance in the affected district, Biharamulo. Listen ⬇️

Rwanda's #Marburg outbreak is up to 56 cases (from 49 yesterday). The death toll is holding at 12. Eight people have recovered. The country has conducted nearly 2,400 tests. The organization here is amazing. Let's hope they're turning the tide on this awful disease.

⚠️ BREAKING: Rwanda 🇷🇼 reports two more deaths from its Marburg virus outbreak. A total of 26 cases and 8 deaths have been recorded so far.
