Got a little nommy from the Aus screen sound guild for our work on Mystery Road: Origin 🥰 very fun!

First Nations artists and musicians are prolific in this country, and so many have the #ProTools skills that can be applied to post sound work. There needs to be awareness about this gap + immediate funding & support. The Australian #sound industry is nearly entirely white men.

This is the perfect time to start seeking First Nations talent for sound editing to have them ready to join these amazing productions.We have such a huge gap in this industry, and white people are currently creating the sonic worlds to diverse stories! It’s time for a change!

@BeingCharisBlog There's no standard to "tune" to anymore (you can partially blame movie theatres!), so everyone in post is just flailing for a good mix on the most possible systems. Unsurprisingly, it ends in chaos.

@dysautonomian @bimbomarxistt This is a v irresponsible take, both damaging to the legitimacy and plight of those suffering from MCAS, and those suffering from the DISEASE that is an eating disorder. Correlation, not causation, and so so individual that you cannot make this generalisation

i always joke and say “hot girls have stomach aches” but i genuinely think we have gi issues from eating disorders that ravaged in our teen years
