@K__Mayfield @laurchastain22 I am starting to see some prayer as abuse when it's used to shame or dismiss your pain. I was so used to it that I never could see it, but now I can't not see it. Even when someone says “ill be praying for you” feels a wrong.

@CarissaCaples I struggle more now with the code-switching I have to do or even letting people say stuff I don't agree with and trying to stay authentic. It's really really hard. Sometimes I still use the lingo to help others to understand me. But sometimes it's too painful.

For all the weird and downright false or unhealthy structures around teenage evangelism training, the idea of "maybe all you do is plant the seed" is actually really great and true of all kinds of things. We have little control over people changing their minds or behavior.

@hungrybark just got off the phone with your customer service and was treated so awful. Honestly your food was gross and my poor dog was suffering. I feel like an idiot for trusting a company that was advertising on Instagram. Wow. Never again. Stay away! This company is shit.
