@djsmith42 This is perhaps a mix of the two, but maybe something in its own right: perverse incentives often lead to complexity, e.g. a common problem at Big Cos is POA (Promotion Oriented Architecture)

@djsmith42 How pervasive even is "domain" among nontechnical folks? I'd probably call it "Website name" w/ a google.com placeholder, and automatically remove a www. prefix if they enter one😆😭

@wesleytodd @naugtur @matteocollina @github Ours is a pretty bespoke due to Reasons™ , but there are a lot of good solutions out there that make this relatively easy to do (e.g. runs-on.com)

My team has been telling me that CI gets often stuck with "waiting for a runner to pick up this job" for a long time in our org @github actions. Is there a solution for this?
