New paper out! We found that if you remind people of recent experiences using subtle odor cues during sleep, this is reflected in changes in neuronal oscillations that are known to be important for memory.

Using an odor-cueing paradigm, we isolated neural responses tied specifically to declarative memory cueing. Our findings reveal widespread increases in both the duration and rate of sleep spindles thanks to odor cueing.
