@MikeGuglielmin Interesting take, except the voters in Carleton rejected Pierre Poilievre last year, & he still managed to land back in a taxpayer funded lifestyle and house. Hard to argue that’s purely ‘about respecting voters’ when he can sidestep that outcome & keep the same perks anyway.

Here's my take on floor crossing. Being an MP isn't about the politician. It's about the people who voted for them, the leader they believed in, and the party they elected to represent them in Ottawa. Floor crossing breaks that promise, and Canadians deserve better. Last year, the people of Vaughan-Woodbridge voted for Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party of Canada. You chose his vision of hope, affordability, and real change. I'm proud to carry that mandate as your Conservative MP, and I will never betray that trust.
