Is it really ugly? I have friends who keep saying it’s ugly, but maybe it’s just not the prettiest cat. It’s full of love, walks around the house with me, and loves sitting on my chest—especially at night before I go to sleep. What do you think?
After waiting… and waiting… and wondering if today would finally be the day…
It was.
This sweet cat woke up in a shelter cage like any other morning. Same walls. Same routine. Same quiet hope that someone might stop, look a little longer, and choose them.
And this time… someone did.
No more cold floors.
No more being overlooked.
No more wondering “why not me?”
Just a ride home.
A new name, maybe.
A warm place to sleep.
A life where they finally belong.
It’s easy to scroll past moments like this… but this is everything.
Because for every adoption you see, there are still so many waiting for their turn.
And sometimes, the difference between “still waiting” and “going home” is just one person deciding to stop and say yes.
Today, this one got their yes. 💕❤

It was a very busy day yesterday.
The humans had their Plant Sale and made a lot of money for charity.
There were so many people in the veranda that I thought it would be a good idea to keep out of the way.
All the humans were happy and bought lots of plants.
I'm not sure what 'charity' means but I think it's a good thing, isn't it?
Good morning. These are more of the flowers I have ready for today’s sale, but first I’m off to my job, the job of treasure hunting!
I’ll catch up later 💐
Happy Saturday ☀️💐

It's not a very good photo but it shows something very exciting - Maurine and I relaaxing together for the first time!
I think Betty had a bit of a shock when she saw us.
I've never been s so friendly with another cat before, not even with Sweet Barbs.
I'm going to share some more photos tomorrow, they are much better than this one.

I'm not sure what's in this blue bag behind me but I think someone has been tidying up.
I've heard some humans talking about taking things to 'The Tip'.
They also talk about 'Recycling'.
I haven't got a clue what they mean but I suppose they know what they are doing.
Have you ever heard of these things?

Space is running out in the Big Greenhouse!
Betty is hoping that lots of the plants will be sold next Sunday at the Plant Sale.
I managed to find a bit of space near the sweet peppers and tomatoes.
Betty grows all these plants from seed.
Have you ever done that?
1/3 Many of you know about my Macey Blankies which I knit for different cats These blankies go to friends of Macey who got to know her when she joined Twitter I also knit them for cats I have met along the way that I want to gift Each blankie helps to keep Macey's memory alive💔

I love the early mornings at the allotments.
It's usually very quiet and peaceful and it's Betty's favourite time of day too.
She's told me that next Sunday there is going to be a Plant Sale.
I hope lots of humans come and buy the plants.
The money is for charity but I'm not sure what that is.
Have you ever heard of 'charity' before?
