@signulll So weird, i thought the secret to being a good friend was all about being open to being inconveniencing.

@svpino @bcherny 💯 there has to be some intermediate escrow account or similar that provides a layer of protection from the obvious risks

@bcherny I gotta be honest with you: I know it should be capable of doing it, but I still need to become comfortable trusting that next step (access to my credit card, personal data, etc.) Glad to hear you have tried it and it worked.

Claude Cowork is mind-blowing. I still cannot believe you can do this on your phone and then come back to your computer to a complete report on the best plane tickets to buy. I wonder where we'll be by the end of the year.

Very excited for the dislike button. Especially since X is such a positive, uplifting platform full of sane people and little to no bots. I literally can’t imagine it going wrong.

@trq212 this is great and much of it transferable, but it seems v dev oriented. Is there an equivalent inhouse doc for using skills across anthropic for non-coding.

Using Skills well is a skill issue. I didn't quite realize how much until I wrote this, the best can completely transform how your team works.

@petergyang Agree that ai skills are essential, but the startup option is not at all viable for most unless you have (rich) parents wishing to bankroll you.

Everyone's saying how new grads face the toughest job market yet. Maybe so, but if they're AI pilled I think they're way more employable than experienced people who are used to doing things the old way. And if the job market is truly bad, then they should just start a company and go pursue their dream instead.

@enggirlfriend commercial pilots have to pass a medical test every year, otherwise no job. (....the food served on planes might also be a contributory factor)

I know I go on about this, but comments to all of my posts, both here and on LinkedIn, are no longer worth reading at all due to AI bots. That was not the case a few months ago. (Or rather, bad/crypto comments were obvious, but now it is only meaning-shaped attention vampires)
