@jeromeabdipowel @omar_dddg Even the average diasporic Arab Muslim layperson does not know the meaning of "fiqh" or "aqīdah." It would be beneficial even to them to simply say "jurisprudence" and "creed," which literally mean the exact same thing.

I would propose putting in an effort to actually translate Islamic words that have equivalent meanings in English. It's a sign of intellect, universality, adaptability, and ensures being different from the ways of the Jews. Day of Resurrection = يوم القيامة God / The God = الله Night of Power = ليلة القدر Associationism = شرك Disbelief = كفر Oneness = توحيد Mass transmission = تواتر Where Arabic transliterations are necessary (for names), it is better to adhere to the standard (i.e. "Ahl al-Sunnah" as opposed to "Ahlus Sunnah").
