@Voiceofigbos Well I am in not support of tribal sentiment or one sided leadership bt this is exactly what late GMB did and everything seem okay. GMB ordered IG to withdraw all license guns from Nigerians while Bandits and Boko haram ran-sack villages. Can u imagine that.

@underworld_09 I am not surprised at these comments. A nation with so many vipers and dubious individuals can never recognise individuals with integrity. A nation that celebrates criminality and die-hard individuals over decency. A nation that regarded religion over constitution. Continue.

JAMB should create restrictions in their form portal for under- age prospectus students during purchase & filling of form so that parents will not be wasting money to buy jamb form. JAMB is just making unnecessary money from students.

@IRanMediaco Iran is the pblm of the world. A country who sponsors and kill anyone who does not believe in their ideology. Iran is against civilization and any islamic countries who does not practice extremism. Who gave them the right of religion monopoly. Iran is dangerous.

@andyuzor @Mazitundeeednut @VeronMosengo Sometimes I am ashamed to hear talk like this, why CAF officials did not apply the regulations as when the offence was committed? Why is that the match was later played and champion awarded that they re acting. Their actions display corruption

Senegal wanted to turn AFCON finals into village football Match where you can abandon the pitch and walk away if you don’t like referee decision. They would have set a bad precedence if nothing was done about their shameful conduct. I salute the courage of CAF by applying the sledge hammer. Better late than never.

PRESS RELEASE FROM LABOUR PARTY Coalition: Labour Party gives Obi 48 hours to resign from party ... Desperate politicians can't birth new Nigeria Former Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Gregory Obi has received a 48 hour ultimatum to formally resign his membership of the Labour Party having formally joined the coalition party. Labour Party while reiterating its disinterestedness in joining the coalition said that the members of the coalition are power mongers whose only interest was self and not the people. The party warned Nigerians that the often mouthed 'new Nigeria is Possible' is a ruse and cannot be achieved with the assemblage of old, recycled, desperate and frustrated politicians in the coalition. In a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of Labour Party, Obiora Ifoh, the party says that all those who mismanaged Nigeria over the years are the ones that gathered themselves in the coalition while noting that desperate politicians can't birth new Nigeria. We are aware of several nocturnal meetings between Peter Obi and some of our members, lobbying them to join him in his new party. We're also aware that a number of them has refused to defect with him. Labour Party has consistently said it is not part of the coalition and therefore, any of our members who is part of the coalition is given within 48 hours to formally resign his membership of the party. Labour Party is not available for people with dual agenda, people with deceptive persona. The party will not avail itself to individuals who have one leg in one Party and another leg elsewhere. People that in the morning, they will claim to be in the Labour Party and in the evening they are in coalition. Nearly 70 percent of Nigerian population are youths who are tired of the old order, tired of gerontocrats deciding their fate. The new Nigeria that the youths are dreaming of, is not what can be realized from what we are seeing in the coalition. These people are opportunistic politicians who are only interested in relaunching themselves into circle of power, people who are desperate to continue holding on to power. The new Nigeria of our dream can only be realized through Labour Party and the party is willing to lead Nigerians along that trajectory. I therefore urge all members of the party to remain loyal and keep the party structure intact ahead of future elections. SIGN: Obiora Ifoh National Publicity Secretary Labour Party 03/07/2025

@Social_Ustaxx @PeterObi Since Mr Peter Obi contested 2023 election and was denied his victory, it look like the people has been recruited on social media to keep attacking him so that he can never again wild such popularity. Gentle man, I think you are one of them, continue, every labour has reward.

What cannot be hidden in Leadership Leadership of a nation is such that it's either succeeding or failing, none can be hidden. There are critical areas of leadership that must exist for a nation to move forward, and these are summed up in four Cs: Competence, Capacity, Character and Compassion. Where these four are non-existent, there is no magic you can do. It's in this line that I have always maintained that we must move away from voting based on tribe and religion, and begin to vote for people with competence, capacity, character, and compassion, because we have all seen, painfully, what leadership without these qualities has done to our country. Competence because Nigeria today needs a leader who understands the issues, who has the knowledge, experience, and clear ideas to solve them. Capacity because it is not a ceremonial position; it requires strength, stamina, and the mental energy to confront our complex challenges. And above all, leadership must be rooted in character and integrity because without integrity, public trust collapses, corruption thrives, and selfishness takes over. But perhaps most importantly, we need compassion, because when a leader lacks compassion, human lives are treated as statistics, and suffering is ignored. Sadly, the evidence is right before our eyes. Recently, we witnessed severe flooding in Niger State that claimed nearly 200 lives, with many still missing. Yet, not even a single presidential visit, this, in a nation where the scene of the tragedy is less than an hour away by helicopter. Just days ago, over 200 Nigerians, innocent men, women, children, and even soldiers were massacred in Benue State. Again, no presidential visit. No physical presence at the scenes of pain. No genuine national mourning. No leadership face to comfort the grieving or give hope to the people. Yet, we have seen what true leadership looks like elsewhere: In India, after a plane crash killed nearly 200 people, the Prime Minister was physically at the scene within hours. In South Africa, when floods claimed 78 lives, the president went personally to the affected communities, stood with them, and took responsibility. That is leadership with compassion. That is leadership that understands the value of human life. But here in Nigeria, we have normalised leadership without empathy, without accountability, and without a human face. That is why I insist: Nigeria does not just need another president; Nigeria needs a leader, a leader with competence, capacity, character, and compassion. Until we choose leaders on these principles, the cycle of pain will only continue. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
