‼️Fofana has turned into a £200,000-a-week liability. His defending has been average at best, and he has shown his immaturity, on and off the pitch.
Chelsea need to sell the Frenchman but their big issue will be finding a buyer willing to pay him such a silly salary, as he is contracted until 2029.

‼️ I would keep Jackson if he is willing to work with Chelsea again after returning from his loan with Bayern. I recall once being told by a source close to the striker that he would not play for Chelsea again while Maresca remained head coach. But Maresca is not there now.

Wayne Rooney says playing once a week will benefit Chelsea and Alonso:

@Blue_Footy @Ryzigga Yes, Palmer doesn't have ego which you are absolutely right but he's English player and he has a little problem which he needs to dwell on and deal with it. Let's see if Xabi Alonso uses Jackson this coming season.

I feel Cole Palmer is getting a bit undermined nowadays. It feels like some Chelsea fans are willing to let him leave. I keep seeing, "He can leave if he wants."
This guy still has world-class potential. He hasn't even fully physically developed.
He burst to that level in his first two seasons, but it was obvious he didn't climb to it gradually, so it's difficult to sustain.
Also, it's not out of place for a young player to have one or two off seasons. I believe that injuries have contributed to his recent form. He is clearly lacking confidence.
But I expect all that to change under Alonso. If he can get him up and running like he did for Wirtz after that ACL, and create the same free role for Palmer, we could see him back to his best.
The guy deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Obviously, this season is a total failure in every sense. A lot of mistakes were made last summer, but that's the past. Alonso is our future now. He won't have midweek distractions, which is huge. If we do our job well enough this summer, we could be closer to the title. Missing UCL was bad, but it's also important for Alonso to get going as early as possible before the toxic vultures circle to attack.

✍️ It's obvious I crazily want Alonso at Chelsea. I rate him a lot, I won't lie. For me, he's a top 5 best manager in Europe.
We are very lucky he's free, just like Enrique when we missed him. Of course, you can't tell the future, but one thing is certain: you can't give someone like Alonso or Fabregas support and the keys to run things, with the wealth of their football knowledge and what they have shown as coaches, and expect them to fail.
It's not possible unless you don't let them have their way. Football isn't that complicated.

I don't see an undisputed player of the season this season. It's just too dry, but it's likely to come from Arsenal. It could be Raya, Rice, or Gabriel. I actually don't have a favorite. 🤔
