Pedro Neto has not been terrible for Chelsea in terms of numbers, especially when compared to his teammates. But he was the Bermuda Triangle for majority of the attacks. This will go down like Sterling vs Wolves.

@Blue_Footy I don't disagree with you, theres a player there, but you could see his ego flipped after his first season with us, started trying to do everything himself, then start slow everything down. Its his attitude that makes him transferable. Hopefully Alonso can turn it around.

I feel Cole Palmer is getting a bit undermined nowadays. It feels like some Chelsea fans are willing to let him leave. I keep seeing, "He can leave if he wants." This guy still has world-class potential. He hasn't even fully physically developed. He burst to that level in his first two seasons, but it was obvious he didn't climb to it gradually, so it's difficult to sustain. Also, it's not out of place for a young player to have one or two off seasons. I believe that injuries have contributed to his recent form. He is clearly lacking confidence. But I expect all that to change under Alonso. If he can get him up and running like he did for Wirtz after that ACL, and create the same free role for Palmer, we could see him back to his best. The guy deserves the benefit of the doubt.

@SJohnsonSport Fofana - wages and injury record. I don't care what we pay players, but I think we can replace him for someone more reliable and reinvest his earnings elsewhere.

@iam_brau Gusto, Gittens, Essugo deserve another year. We dont know what Gittens is yet. Been a huge disappointment but lets see with a proper manager. Essugo looked class before his injury

@journalism_rp Has 6yr contract, no release clause. Let him sulk if he wants to leave. He has got better since joining Chelsea, therefore value should be higher than we paid. If someone wants to pay a value which reflects his growth + inflation then negotiate otherwise let Alonso win him around

Simple equation for Chelsea. Set a price, get a quick sale, get a replacement that complements Moises Caicedo. No reason to keep players that do not want to be here, no one is bigger than the club.

@ArchieStanding Genuinely agree, love him, but his game has been poor all season. Same goes for Neto, if we can make a profit on purchase price (not book value) I would sell him too.

This will probably get me a load of stick but I am going to say it anyway. “If” an adequate offer (£50million +) comes in from a team abroad this summer for Cucurella I would take it. People love the idea of Cucurella. All action, passionate and tons of desire. But there are real limitations to his game. He isn’t quick, his passing metrics aren’t good and going forward he is quite basic. Good movement but end product is iffy at best. He had 18 months of being superb but has also had 2 spells here being either indifferent or very poor. I also think a lot depends on how Alonso intends to play with the LB/LWB. This isn’t me saying “I want” to sell him. I like him, but under the right conditions and the right replacement, it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

@ChelsTransfer @FabrizioRomano Pretty sure he signed an 8year contract. Barcelona shouldn't be talking to a player without Chelsea's permission. If Chelsea say no, he has no choice but to stay. Barcelona can't afford the fee upfront that Chelsea should / would demand

Chelsea cannot afford to take any more risks in the market, but Mika Godts is a Winger I like. Reminds me a bit of Kvaratshlelia, problem is judging that league, look at the space he has. Want PL proven experience though.
