In a world overflowing with noise, misinformation, and rising antisemitism, it is more important than ever for believers to stand firm in truth and in love. That’s why I’m excited to share our newest Red Alert podcast episode, featuring a powerful conversation with Tamar Pinto of the Israeli American Council (IAC). This episode, The Role of Community Engagement in Supporting Israel, explores how intentional relationship-building can reshape narratives, strengthen Jewish-Christian solidarity, and bring light to places where confusion and hostility often reign. As Christians, we know that Scripture calls us to be people who “seek peace and pursue it” and who “comfort God’s people” (Psalm 34:14, Isaiah 40:1). Community engagement is one of the most tangible ways we can live out that calling. What You’ll Hear in This Episode Tamar shares deeply from her work as Senior Manager of Educational Content and Community Engagement at the IAC. She speaks about: Building bridges between Jewish, Israeli, and Christian communities Creating shared spaces where understanding replaces suspicion Engaging young people so they grow rooted in identity and truth Standing against antisemitism through education and honest conversation The surprising warmth she has experienced from Christians who love Israel Her stories—including a moving account of Israeli and Iranian women coming together at an International Women’s Day event—remind us that God is always at work, even across cultural and historical divides. Why This Matters Spiritually Community engagement is not just a strategy—it is ministry. When we show up for our Jewish neighbors, when we listen, when we build friendships, we are living out the biblical mandate to “bless the children of Abraham” (Genesis 12:3) and to stand as watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem (Isaiah 62:6). Every conversation, every shared event, every act of solidarity becomes a testimony that God’s people choose truth over lies, unity over division, and love over fear. @amy_zewe Askhttps://youtu.be/qpBsW2EoPWE?si=Vp_5LhCFXYs5StAH

Jews and Gentiles worshiping together is not just inspiring; it’s a sign of redemption. When the apostles saw Gentiles turning to the God of Israel, they recognized the “other sheep” being gathered into one flock under Yeshua the Messiah. “What kind of a depraved monster slices off a woman’s breast while she is being gang raped, and throws it into the dust to be used as a plaything? What kind of a twisted pervert turns rape into necrophilia by shooting a woman in the head while he is still defiling her? What kind of ‘freedom fighters’ go into battle with a set of handy Arabic-to-Hebrew phrases, including ‘take off your pants’, ‘lie down’, and ‘spread your legs’? What self-respecting human being presses nails, scalpels, a hammer, an axe, screwdrivers and other household tools into a woman’s genitals? How hard do you have to rape someone, and with what, to shatter their pelvis? Who shoots a young girl in the face and then films her mutilated corpse on her brother’s mobile phone? The answer is: Hamas terrorists. This is the stark reality of what they did to men, women and children on October 7, 2023. And the world must never forget.” @WestminsterWAG

These kids will remember this for the rest of their lives. Meeting the King and Royalty is one of the most highest honours in Judaism. So when he visits the community, more than 1500 Orthodox Jews come out onto the streets to greet him and honour him. This is called integration into British society.

The ever-thoughtful @DouglasKMurray asks why The New York Times would make such outlandish and horrific claims about Israel ⬇️ “Normal people would note that the story does not pass (sorry to use the phrase) the most basic smell test. It is the sort of claim that someone would only make if they wanted to portray their enemies as absolute monsters, enemies of humanity: Untermensch. As it happens, if you scan the relevant literature you will find that there is absolutely no evidence that dogs can be trained to rape and penetrate human beings. There is not a case — not one — of a dog trainer successfully turning a canine into a rape-machine. …the New York Times story landed just a day before an anticipated report into Hamas’ use of sexual violence on October 7, 2023… if you know that a report is coming out into Hamas’ use of sexual violence then it is clearly very important to invent a claim even more appalling than the real-life crimes of Hamas.” nypost.com/2026/05/14/opi…

“Thus says the LORD, ‘I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.’ Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Old men and old women will again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each man with his staff in his hand because of age. And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing in its streets’” (Zech 8:3–5). Although Jerusalem cannot yet be called the “City of Truth,” and God has not fully taken up His dwelling there, the city remains a modern miracle, one that many Christians overlook after falling prey to anti-Israel rhetoric and the habit of blaming the world’s problems on the Jews. When Zechariah first spoke this prophecy, the Jewish remnant that had returned from seventy years of exile in Babylon found his words nearly impossible to believe. The city and its temple were only a faint shadow of their former glory. That Jerusalem would one day become the most important mountain on earth, filled with life and visited by “many peoples and mighty nations,” must have sounded almost sarcastic. Yet consider the modern city of Jerusalem, filled with elderly men and women drinking coffee and speaking Hebrew together, and children laughing and playing in its streets after a two-thousand-year exile. Is this merely a historical coincidence or a political accident? Consider how Jerusalem came into being again after Rome razed it to the ground, how the Jewish people were scattered and persecuted wherever they lived, Jewish blood flowing in the streets of Germany during the First Crusade, and the expulsions from England and Spain.  How ironic it is that so many Israeli atheists fail to see a miracle looking back at them in the mirror. And how tragic it is that so many in the world fail to recognize the sheer improbability of Jerusalem filled once more with Jewish life apart from the existence of God. Yet a miracle it is, beyond any reasonable explanation. And when I look at the people of Jerusalem today, despite the many challenges we face, I am encouraged to believe in even greater miracles still to come.

Each year on Yom Yerushalayim, Jerusalem Day, Israel celebrates one of the most extraordinary moments in our modern history: the reunification of Jerusalem in 1967. It is a day filled with music, dancing, and prayer. ...when Christians around the world celebrate Jerusalem with us—when they pray for her peace, when they stand against anti-Semitism, when they support the people who call her home—it is not just solidarity. It is shared identity, shared values, and shared destiny. FULL STORY: cbn.com/news/israel/je…

Shabbat shalom! This week’s Torah portion is Bamidbar, and the Sabbath is Shabbat Machar HaChodesh. Rosh Chodesh Sivan begins Saturday evening. HaShem orders a census of Israel’s fighting men, listing each tribe’s count and leaders. The Levites encamp around the Mishkan with the tribes in formation around them. The Levites replace the firstborn in serving the Mishkan. During their journeys, the Kohathites transport the holiest items after the priests cover them, the Gershonites handle curtains and coverings, and the Merarites carry beams and bases. HaShem assigns each Levite clan their specific duties, ensuring order in Israel’s journey. Click here for the Bible readings and commentary articles. vist.ly/54aua

I’m calling for 50 days of prayer for our nation as we look forward to our 250th anniversary on July 4—and it begins today! Each day, a pastor from a different state will lead us in a prayer for America at noon ET right here on my X page, and I ask you to join us. Pray with me right now that we as individuals, and as a nation, will turn to the God of our fathers—the God of the Bible. And then come back at noon when a pastor from Alabama will lead us in prayer. I hope you’ll come back every day for 50 days—and share this with your friends and encourage them to pray! I believe in the power of prayer! OneNationUnderGod.com #50Days50States50Prayers @BGEA

Have you ever heard the song Jerusalem of Gold? Written by Naomi Shemer and sung by Shuli Natan at the Israeli Song Festival 59 years ago today, this song was a prayer set to music - a nation's longing for a Jerusalem it could not enter. Three weeks later, the Six-Day War changed everything. When @IDF paratroopers reached the Western Wall for the first time in 19 years, they sang Yerushalayim Shel Zahav. That same day, Shemer wrote a final triumphant verse celebrating the reunification of the city. 🇮🇱 Yom Yerushalayim Sameach 🇮🇱 🎥 @jfcuia
