So here’s the issue you get influencers like this guy have a quarter million followers and they claim they don’t know why it is declining… it’s because they don’t understand basic mechanics of price discovery. They don’t understand that the marginal buyers or the float determines price they think the onchain bitcoin is that is the price discovery Well, it was once upon a time but now.. Once you can synthetically manufacture the supply, the asset is no longer scarce and once scarcity is gone, price becomes a derivatives game, not a supply-and-demand market. This is exactly what has happened to Bitcoin. This is the same structural break that occurred in gold, silver, oil, and eventually equities once they became derivatives-dominated. The original premise that no longer exists Bitcoin’s entire valuation logic was built on finite supply (21M) and inability to be rehypothecated. That died the moment: •Cash-settled futures •Perpetual swaps •Options •ETFs •Prime broker lending •Wrapped BTC •Total return swaps were layered on top of the chain. From that moment forward: Bitcoin supply became theoretically infinite. Not on-chain in price discovery. The metric that explains the collapse Synthetic Float Ratio (SFR) Once you can synthetically manufacture the supply, the asset is no longer scarce — and once scarcity is gone, price becomes a derivatives game, not a supply-and-demand market. Then I looked closer. And realized I had never seen this strategy before. He is not predicting anything. Not reading momentum. Not timing entries based on spot price lag. He just buys UP and DOWN together. Same market. Same window. Sounds stupid until you see the math. Polymarket has 15-minute BTC markets. Will price go UP or DOWN in the next 15 minutes. Simple bet. When a lot of people start guessing, prices get weird. UP might cost 48¢. DOWN costs 46¢. Together that is 94 cents. But one of them will always pay $1. Always. Because BTC either goes up or down. So he buys both for 94¢. Waits 15 minutes. Gets $1 back. Keeps the 6¢ difference. The edge is the slop. Other bots fight for direction. This one farms the chaos. When BTC goes sideways, both outcomes drift toward 50/50. Spreads widen. He loads up. Sits for a few minutes. Market closes. Collects. I went through his history expecting at least some red. 8,610 trades. 97% green. So many questions on where bitcoin is heading. My honest answer, at this phase of cycle we're in that zone where it's not bull only mode. So I wouldn't be surprised with bitcoin at $60k or $180k in 3 months. Bitcoin doubles in 3 months during bull phases and historically drops 50% off the highs in 8 weeks from a top. So I'm no help to you and I wont stake a position for future clout. My only goal personally here is how to get the best possible result from either outcome.
