While major publications like @washingtonpost ignore our vital work, @wamu885 + @DCist have consistently told our stories and shared our resources with the DC community. Losing @DCist leaves a giant vacuum in DC news—orgs and DC residents like us count on their reporting.

Look at that list, and tell me that any pivot to audio will be able to cover the D.C. region now. Good luck with that, though.
