Our new BEACH building is coming to life! Tuesday was day 1 of equipment deliveries. The team set up 128 new office workstations with new chairs and drawers, 24 microwaves and a whopping 336 bins across one floor. With 3 more floors to go, the BEACH is shaping up beautifully.🙌

@GKelly_singer In my old trust there was a figure; new trust, no. Although some sessions much higher volume than others due to various reasons. For some reason we had a higher value set than the radiologists, not sure why

Paediatric radiographers please help! Where can we buy more Perspex sheets for DP hands and feet? Our has gone missing!

@DrEilidhMaria @yasminleighw @mrjamesob What if a network repeatedly uses footage of you without your permission under false pretences? (Ie displaying the video of you and saying you’re something that you’re not) when you don’t consent to them using footage of you ?

@jess_xray We don't have any reporting rads OOH, only in hours. Consultant radiologist on call from home OOH apart from 9-1 on a Saturday morning where one is in. Would love our department to have more reporting rads!

Do any reporting rads provide reporting cover OOH? Evenings or weekends? Alsoc do you report remotely from home or on site?

@MattConroy6 Yes I would imagine and agree. How are you contacted on your WFH day for queries?

@jess_xray We have two Radiographers reporting MSK (A&E and inpatients) at the weekend. And everyone in the team has home workstations, I think we all WFH one day a week and I find that day much more productive compared to when I report on-site.

@Beckywhits @xrayben93 Yes we are the same, also introduced for ? MC # incase rad performing missed the X-ray and saved recall… but just wondered why this would be done seperate to the lateral wrist

@jess_xray @xrayben93 We only do lateral hand if there’s any suspicion of a fracture otherwise standard hand is just DP and oblique 👍🏼

When performing hand & wrist X-rays do you perform these all in one on the same film or as separate projections? Do reporters have a preference?

@jess_xray Long DP hand and wrist, separate oblique hand and lateral wrist. Plus separate lateral hand if required

@HighwaysSEAST No movement after 2 hours…. Delays much much longer than that

The #A31 eastbound between the #A338 (#Ringwood) and the #M27, traffic has been temporarily STOPPED due to a collision. There's currently delays of up to 30 minutes on approach both ways. We will keep you updated.
