My opponent's solution to poverty is making our houseless neighbors pay a fine (with $ they don't have) or go to jail. Their only crime is being poor. The Sheriff’s Office spends $317.87 per jail bed per night. I trust Portlanders to see this is not only unjust, but irresponsible
